Watchband noise

Can't find a better word. My watchband is making some noise when attached firmly on my wrist. It's kind of squeaking. Anyone else experiencing this and might have a fix? Not a big deal but it's annoying me. Anyone know what kind of tools is required for watchband removal, I have seen that tools are provided if buying a new band but don't want to do that just to check out what's going on with mine.

I'm having the same issue, although it needs to be fairly quiet around for me to hear it - which my house and workplace generally isn't. It can be a bit annoying though.

Kind of good to know that I'm not alone. Agree it needs to be quite around for the noise to be noticeable which is mainly evening time for me. Worthwhile to apply some kind of lube?
  • Yes, I hear the same. Maybe a little WD40? Or, is this a job for duct tape? :)

Maybe I will test some WD40, the tape usually do the job for everything so maybe slap on a part of that as well.
  • Seems like this is a rare issue due to few replies. Think I found a solution if anyone would be interested. I applied some silicone spray which seems to have fixed the issue of noise completely. Silicone spray is made for rubber parts and to reduce noise among other things. Hope it lasts. If not I guess I have to remove the band and apply some more, applied the spray with the band still on the watch.

I've got the sound but I actually like it for some reason.

Sounds crazy to me, was very annoying to me, so happy to get rid of it. But good that you like it, let's hope for your sake it stays then. If mine comes back I will take out the silicone spray right away and give it a shower.
