Have had this watch for a week now and am getting real tired of all the bugs!!!!
I just had a workout at the gym. I did a 30min weights session and a 30min bike session. For both activities I recorded them as "Other" with GPS clearly set to off in the settings for the "Other" activity - I confirmed this was the case before and after both workouts. When starting both workouts, I got the message GPS ready but with a cross in the strength meter - I thought this was odd but continued anyway.
Checking GC after uploading, it appears that indeed the GPS was on during both sessions. Battery was also drained more than expected obviously due to GPS being on when it's not supposed to be.

Garmin better get their act together and fix all these issues and give customers what they paid for. I paid a premium for a good product, I expect it to perform like a good product.!!!:mad::mad::mad:
