HR stuck in 66 at 3.30

Today I noticed the HR showing 70-75 while watch not on my wrist. Rebooted and now it is stuck at 66.

    Please fix this issue.
  • Does anon else experience issues in not having data screens and watch faces on your watch.
Apps downoad fine... but these do not. Connect express shows that eg data screens have downloaded and that they are on the watch. But when i disconect the cradle and look in the watc, not there. When I connect to GQ express. The show as not installed.

Anoying. As this worked just yesterday.

Did you already try to switch off the watch and start it again? This worked for me after I installed an app and a few data fields, they only showed up after restarting the device.

Might be seeing an update for the 235 soon. One just dropped for the vivosmart HR, including the following:

"Today’s software update also includes a fix to an issue of the heart rate frequently defaulting to 72 and additional improvements."

    Yep. Worked. Kudos
  • 2 months now since the last full release!!

We have at least 2 bugs that cant be very difficult to fix - 1. Add an option for full 24/7 HRM, 2. Get pace alerts in workouts working.

There are plenty of others, but in 2 months I'd expect the above to have been implemented.

Do we have any idea when this is coming, or whether Garmin have just ditched this watc like they did the 225.

    Not impressed!
  • there are reports of a 4.10 version being released on Friday in the forums. This apparently came from customer support and is said to fix pace alerts. No idea if this is true or not, let's wait and see.

    Sticky at top of page.

Changes made from version 3.30 to 4.10:
•Added support for speed/pace and heart rate audio prompts.
•Added support to download stored heart rate data from compatible straps (HRM-Tri and HRM-Swim).
•Fixed an issue in which the virtual partner pace could get set to 4:00/mile when switching between activity profiles.
•Includes various bug fixes and stability improvements.

But disappointingly the watch still goes to 72 bpm and then adjust when checking HR. I though this had been fixed in the Vivosmart so not sure why its not included here. (Vivosmart firmware 2.9 - Fixed an issue that always started the Heart Rate Widget with some default HR values. The Widget will now show the most recently recorded HR reading until it obtains a new valid reading.) And of course no variable 24*7 HR sampling :( Maybe on the next release...

Would be interested to know what the bug fixes are.
