Forerunner 235 lockup & freezing

Hi,

I am new to the forums so please go easy. I bought a Forerunner 235 at the weekend (Sat) as a replacement to my trusty old FR610.

The watch looks great but on the 2nd day the screen was froze and unresponsive to any button press.

I plugged the watch into my computer and the watch corrected itself and continued to work as normal and put this down to a blip.

All has been fine until late Tuesday when the watch froze again, seem to reboot and set my steps for the day back to 0 and the time is 1hr 20mins behind.

I haven't had a chance to look at it today as I am work and I slept in due to the time being wrong, does anyone else have such issues?

Appreciate any feedback, I have the latest updates and sync the device with my Iphone 6s with Garmin Connect IQ.

Can't really help on the freezing issues, but the time being off could just be a case of taking it outside and allowing the unit to get a GPS fix. I had to reset mine a few days ago and found the same thing.

Mine did the same thing yesterday. Froze on a blank screen with a blue bar on the top right. Then I restarted and the time was 7 hours off. I reset but still had the wrong time, so I had to manually enter the time. Strange. Also, when I downloaded the watch face "Big Time", I lose all my other watch faces and it reverts back to "digital".
Before I posted this, I tried setting the time back to automatic. Went back 7 hours again. Took the advice on getting a gps lock and it fixed my time.
