I have had my 235 for about a week. I don't cycle outside only stationary bike. How do I set this up? I can't seem to find out how. I can't figure out how it even works! :) thank you!

    Hi Beth,

You need the speed and cadence sensors, if you google the following: Garmin Bike Speed and Cadence Sensor

if you you tube this you will see the set up.

I'm doing the same for my turbo and buying them from amazon uk for £42 total.

Beth, it depends on what you want to record. I you want to record cadence, distance etc then you want the sensors. If you just want time, heart rate and calorie burn you don't.

To enable to Indoor Bike Activity.
Select any Activity, Then Menu,Then settings,Then Activity Profiles,Scroll down to Bike Indoor and if it is not set to "show" press the top right button to change the status from "Hide" to "Show"
Bike Indoors already has GPS Disabled by default.

    Hope this helps

If you are using a Spinner bike at a studio or gym, and the little display has the ANT+ logo, you can pair your 235 to the bike sensor. If you choose indoor bike and sensors, and then hold the watch right next to the flywheel on the left, it should find the sensor.

Holy crap I've searching for this info for like a year. I could not figure out how to phrase the Google search to tell me how to turn on indoor bike riding. Holy crap that was so frustrating.

    Thank you.
