I'm interested to know if the 220 or 620 bands fit on the 230. I purchased the Yellow 230 because it was cheap but not really liking the bright colour for every day use!
I think we just need to know the width of the part that retains the pin to the actual watch... The 230 is 14/15 mm
Confirm that the 235 strap (well the one I have) is "softer" than the 230/630. I think this is to allow you to wear the 235 a bit tighter and also a bit further up the arm for best optical HR performance. Not such an issue with the 230/630.
Which color is it?
I take it the 630 band is similar to the 230's in terms of thickness?
Garmin should probably mention the differences in case a 235 owner wants to get a different strap.
I recently purchased the Black and White replacement strap in exchange for the Garmin 230 Yellow one - A much stiffer strap than the original that came with the watch!
My wife wanted more bands for her 235 and I wondered if the Vivoactive and 735xt bands would fit her watch too. The answer is yes!
The Garmin brand or aftermarket vivoactive bands fit the 235 just fine. You simply push slightly to get the vivoactive bands in the watch and you will have to use the original 235 pins. Additionally, the new 735xt bands also fit the 235.

The royal blue strap is an aftermarket vivoactive strap, the purple strap is a garmin oem strap. The frost blue and yellow bands are 235 bands.
