Bontrager Flare RT/D-fly/Battery/Review

I'd like to open this thread about this light and also ask some questions..

As per the light, it's very bright even in all-day mode (45 lm) and many drivers stops me asking about the light!

I keep it locked in all-day light since it's enough and the battery life is very long 10-12 hours.

a negative side is to many light modes, I think some of them could be avoided, also if switched from the remote or the DI2 buttons, there is nothing that tells you in which mode the light is, so you have to stop the bike and check it.

Bontrager app in the edge can be improved but at the moment allows to have 2 adjustable light modes plus auto and off, auto doesn't work perfectly because it's enough to ride in some trees shadows and the light switches to night flash mode so 5 lm, that's why I keep it locked..if I don't need it then I'll simply turn it off by the app.

is there anyone here that uses D-Fly to change light modes? setting the DI2 buttons will say "a remote is detected so the light won't work anymore in auto mode (something like that!)" and the app will switch to individual mode..problem is that with this mode and the light locked, it won't switch to any mode or we come back to the first point that nothing will tell you in which mode the light is..

yesterday the app did warn me that the light battery was low but the icon had 2 or 3 lines of 5 so I didn't care...but after an hour the light turned off so something is odd..the icon always did show 2 lines instead of 1 or 0! is it ever happened to anyone?

feel free to ask more info about it..I made it short because I don't know if this thread can be useful or not..
