I have a Garmin Edge 1000 that up until last year didn't drain the battery when the unit was powered off. The unit now drains the battery when powered down such that after two days the battery is totally exhausted. Has anyone else seen this issue, and if so what is a fix for this? I have performed FW upgrades along the way so is it possible that one of the later FW loads causes this battery drain when off?
