Cant upgrade software on Garmin 1000

My software is stuck on 9.30. Garmin express says it is up to date. I have tried the following;

1. Uninstalled and re-installed Garmin express as per your guide.

2. Tried a different computer

3.Factory reset my Edge. Several times.

4. Tried putting the beta software 9.21 into the /garmin folder.

5. Tried Garmin connect - this tells me my software is up to date.

Nothing works. I need to upgrade to sort out an issue with the touchscreen locking.

Thanks,that is helpful but frustrating; I spent a long time on the support chat trying to sort out an intermittently locking touchscreen and was told that the problem was my out of date software.

Try downloading the BETA software 15.21 from https://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=7609 then connect Garmin Express and it should then download the latest version of 15.30

Update - mine is the edge explore - the current software is 9.3..... so the chap in Garmin who told me my issues were due to out of date software was incorrect.
