Soft Strap Premium Heart Rate Monitor & Edge 1000

Hi,

I'm having trouble connecting my HRM (HRM3-SS) to my Edge 1000.

I've had them both years from new but had t reset my Garmin and now having issues when pairing my HRM. I can pair my cadence sensor with no issues.

I've tried wearing it, applying water to the pads, it just isn't picking up anything.

I seem to remember typing the sensor ID into my Edge 1000 years ago which paired the two together. However, don't know what the code is. Does anybody know where I can locate the code?

Note, I don't have the box.

Replace battery on strap

Do you mean the strap or the sensor that connects to the strap?

If so this was one of the firs things I tried. Even tried putting the battery in reverse to short it, and still nothing.

I'm after finding the ID of the sensor so I can input that into my Edge 1000. Can anyone tell me where i can find the ID number?
