Can’t upload tcx or GPX files to garmin connect. It start the download then stops. It’s been like this for over a year

Hi can someone help. I have a gpx file that I need to upload. I have them both in GPX and tcx file. When I select or drag to the upload window, the blue bar starts, then stops half way if I’m lucky. That’s it... it’s been like this for over a year. I’ve been having to get others to upload and then transfer over to my unit. I now don’t have that option. I need this sorted quick as I’m about to go on a 3k ride for two months. Can anyone help...

I have now Tried that. In new file folder and courses folder. The files won’t show up on the Garmin unit, but they are there.... I’m scratching my head now.
