I must be naive. I went in constant circles on their website and never found a way to contact support. What a piece of *** company!

you can phone, email or a chat line. I usually use the chat line and that way I get a record of the conversation. I’ve always found them super helpful.
Temp and baro sensors are the same part, so if a hard reset and didn't do anything, sounds like it, or its connection to the micro failed. As a last resort, I'd try re-installing the firmware, which, in my experience, is done by first installing a down-rev version, then installing the current version. Of course if I installed a down rev version, I'd test it with that prior to installing the current version.
I was able to contact Garmin. The service was actually excellent! Sensor is dead, the unit is outside of warranty so a full replacement with a refurbished unit was $60.00. Shipped it same day we chatted. For future reference the chat feature with Garmin customer service doesn’t appear to show up on the phone had to access their site on computer.
