  • and what's about the battery issue in 12.43 beta?

nothing about it in the change log

  • It's not a bug, it's a feature

  • Nothing about the battery drain? You don't want to know. Shame Garmin
  • And battery? Garmin Garmin soo bad...

  • Agreed it is awful. Battery now only lasting 2 hours. Come on Garmin you need to raise your game and fix this issue once and for all

  • Can we know what causes the battery to drain so fast?

People confirm that version 11.20 was the last good one about battery management. What was changed since then??

We as consumers have the right to know, based on the release notes we don't see anything related with battery management, and we know for a fact that is a BIG DEAL, even if you update other features that affect the battery life we should now. Having a Garmin Edge that will not last more than 3 hours navigating, turns the device useless for a cycling effect when we need to follow a track.

Thank you for your time and we hope to have news from you guys,

    Best Regards

    NG

  • I had no problem with 12.40 battery useage.

  • Hey Garmin, instead of being outside riding my bike, i speed numerous hours in this forum, so just keep something in mind when you provide a new firmware :

    1. don't develop new features as long as the old features was not steady

    2. don't change old functional features if they are working well

    3. if you would improve an old feature which was working well, please refers to 4.

    4. go outside and test the firmwares BEFORE releasing it to all members.

    5. communicate ! more about the products (don't did a poor advertising to show how you can pay or listen music with your watch when you are not able to record correctly an activity) , more about the updates, in more different langages (the french customer service is useless, i know more about garmin products than them)

    6. don't just be a product reseller, learn about the specs

    7. Give us more feedback !

    thank you

  • congratulations that's right !
