Help! Corrupted File...

I've I tried http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl/ - and the utility seems to hang up. Downloaded from https://www.fitfiletools.com/ but Microsoft is blocking any attempt to use this tool. It's not an important ride, I'm just a bit anal about data collection...

recording to your fit file ended abruptly, without summary at the end of the file

was it the battery ?

repaired with FIT File Tools's section remover

Yep, the battery gave out - it went into saver mode and there was power when I pressed save file. Mystified. But I often end up mystified by my Garmin. Thanks ever so much for recovering the file! Brilliant.
