820 Halo screen

I've had a Halo screen on my Garmin for quite some time. At the moment it is getting so bad that with sunlight the screen can hardly be read. I read a lot about this on the forum but not really what action I can take. Can Garmin help me with this?

  • If you're the original purchaser, Contact Garmin support.  I called about my screen halo about a month ago and they replaced it with a refurbished unit.  The refurbished unit looks perfect and the screen looks great.  The touch screen works much better (the old one was really erratic and hard to use) and it seems the unit responds significantly faster than my old one, which was one week short of 2 years old.
