Edge 820 version 11.20 and Garmin connect version 4.20.0.14 won't auto start livetrack

The last few weeks...There were a couple updates to the Garmin Connect app after the 820 firmware update to 11.20. It seems after 1 of these Garmin Connect app updates that LiveTrack Auto Start quit working. I have Auto Start and Extend LiveTrack enabled. I have emails to myself and 2 others (myself to make sure its working). I have an Apple iPhone 7 with the latest iOS version 12.3.1. I also updated my phone about 2 weeks ago so I'm not sure which if this update is messing with Auto Start Livetrack.

Anyone else having an Auto Start LiveTrack issue?

    Yes, but on Android.  After installing Connect and pairing the phone bluetooth features will work correctly and automatically for ~4-5 rides.  It starts going downhill from there with various features stopping working, including LIveTrack Auto Start.  I remove the pairing on the phone and 820, uninstall Connect from my phone, re-install it, go through the pairing process again, whereupon it will work correctly for ~4-5 rides and then starts to go south again.   IOS is probably different.

    I'll try this to see if it will start working but geesh! I'll report back as to my experience.

    My report back:

    Deleted bluetooth connection with iphone7 - Created new bluetooth connection with iphone7

    - LiveTrack Autostart still not working (3 rides)

    Connected 820 to Garmin Express via laptop PC - 820 was up to date but maps were not so updated maps

    - LiveTrack Autostart still not working (5 rides)

    Now, after eight rides of LiveTrack Autostart still not working, all of a sudden the last two rides its working. This is the stuff that is maddening about Garmin. It's really too bad because this unit has worked for me pretty well over the last year but with this latest update, the feature I really want to work does not work. I'm not having any other issues that I'm aware of....saying this with much trepidation

    Had two rides in a row with LiveTrack Autostart working (though not from the start of the ride, but about 2-3km later) and today again: nil. 

    I hate it.
