I updated to V11, but there is no new GPS update , i tried 10times with Garmin Express, by wifi, nothing. It's still on 4.40. Is it released at 100% already?
Here is what worked for me, after the update GPS at version 4.40 started an activity that required GPS for just a minute then deleted the activity. Plugged the device back into Garmin Express then after disconnecting from Express and the computer once the device powered off then back on, I saw on the screen Updating GPS Software message. Worked on both the Edge 1030 and Edge 820
i suppose the solution was to update the Garmin Express to the latest build at me. So pls check your G Express version at first. The GPS update was made in the backround at me with a sync, there was no gps update shown in G Express. Btw, check your RemoteSW folder in the Garmin (this is the folder where the gps update file should be dowloaded), if there is any file, delete it, and resync with the (latest) Garmin Express again.
I had no GPS update (Galileo) after updating to Ver11. I connected my 820 to my computer and GE said it was up to date. I synced it anyway. It still said it was up to date. I disconnected the 820 from the computer, powered it down, and powered it up again. A couple of minutes after it booted and was running, I got a black GPS update screen and it took a minute or so for the GPS firmware to update. After that, I had the Galileo option.
Hi guys, How to check the GPS Version after the GPS firmaware update in V11.00? Does it stands in Settings -> System -> About -> Copyright Information ? If so, it shows 2.30 for me.
