Speed / cadence priorities

How do you know which source is being used for speed and cadence during a ride?
I have a powertap g3 + blue SC.
Both broadcast speed and cadence.
How does the 820 choose between both and is there a way to force it?
Would like to use blue SC for cadence (probably more accurate than cadence calculated by G3) and G3 for speed (fully integrated and no spoke magnet).

    In your case speed is coming from the G3 and cadence is coming from the blue SC.

    If the data source is used as part of the power calculation then it takes priority over the other inputs. So for a G3 hub which is using wheel torque to measure power the wheel speed is needed to compute power so speed from the power meter takes priority over GPS or other speed sensors. Cadence from the G3 is not used as part of the power calculation so the cadence sensor take priority.

    The FIT file shows what source it is using for what information channel.
