Indoor trainer control by power

Hi, I have garmin 820 and Elite indoor trainer.
Last year i controlled the trainer by a pc, with a ant+ usb key, by Elite software and Zwift. I recorded data with my garmin device. All OK.

I would like to cut off my pc and control my trainer (power control) with my garmin device. I tried it in static mode, it's possible, but I would like to do a complete, various program with a lot of frequently variations of power. So... it's possible to do by a training plan?

Thanks for any help
  • It should be. I connected my 820 to my Bkool smart trainer and the 820 has an option of following a saved course. If you were to save your program as a workout and download it to the 820, it should work on the same basis as following a course

Ok. Itried and the small test is OK.
    Little program 1:00 min power zone 80w-80w / 1:00 min power zone 100w/100w / 1:00 min power zone 90w/90w.
Good. This evening i'll try with a more complex workout program.
