Version 10 update broke auto upload

I have an Android with the latest connect version 4.11, my 820 is updated to version 10.00. it appears the new 820 update requires connect version 4.5 ( I'm assuming 4.5 is only on iOS). My device updated and I noticed that I can no longer upload my fit files though my phone. I tried re pairing the device 3 times, with both devices restarted at try 2. The 820 still connects to my phone, and displays that it is syncing but the sync never formally completes it's download, and I never see the ride post on connect; I do receive a ride upload confirmation on my device. I have tried both syncing from the phone and the device as well. I believe I have eliminated any user error from my testing.

Also side note to the devs, like the new text response, but could you throw in an I love you response, it would help.
  • Galaxy S8 here and it's been working OK. I had some issues uploading activities via BT awhile back and what resolved it was forgetting/deleting the BT connections on the 820 and phone. There should be two on the phone. Uninstalled Connect on the phone. Rebooted my phone and installed Connect again. Rebooted the Edge and went through the pairing process from scratch. When done, I have two Edge BT devices on the phone that differ in the icon that precedes Edge 820. One looks like a tablet and phone and the other like a desktop. I suspect these are BTLE and normal BT connections.


    OK. I had previously done this procedure, without the reboots though.
    So I gave it a try with reboots, and guess what ? It looks like everything is OK again for me. My auto-upload mechanism seems functional again.
