Map Screen

Under Activity Profiles, you can turn on and off data screens, map screen, etc and customize those screens for an Activity Profile. Then, after starting an activity in a given profile, those screens are viewable by swiping the device screen. This is described in the user's manual.

You should also be able to change the 'page' order so the screens open in the order you want when you swipe

looigi: I know that I can sweep between the several screens I mean that after I select the route and select ride before it start with the map screen now it start with a data screen

OK. I haven't paid attention to which screen first comes up after I start navigating a course so I don't know an answer to your question. It might depend on whether the course you're navigating is a TXC file or a GPX file. Navigating a TCX file seems to include an obligatory training/virtual partner screen and that's what might pop up first. I generally use RideWithGPS to lay out courses and download a GPX to my Garmin to prevent having the VP screen.

The 820 does not support the re-ordering of training pages.

I only prefer to see the map screen when I start the calculation off an new trip, and this, like it always was on all the Edge's I own until now
In fact I don't know when it change and how it come's, I suppose other owners have the same "issue"

Nobody found something about this (smal) issue? Nobody answer me if it is the same on their machine ...

I see the data screens first as well, but can't remember this was different for my device in the past.
