Firmware 9.1 and Strava Segments.

Anyone else having problems? They stopped working when I upgraded to 9.1.
I even turned Strava segments off, synced, turned them on, synced and saw that they were downloaded again. Yet they don't trigger on the road. I have never had a problem with previous versions of S/W.

Same here. No segments showed until a normal ride. btw: the lap info is stil not working too

Yesterday I've tried live segments but I don't know the reason why suddenly it stopped, maybe because the edge 820 lost the gps signal due to trees at road side? is it possibile? it's the second time that it happened, I was always on the right route, climbs. anyone had this experience?

No way! I reset my 820, I disabled and enabled again the strava segments, I deactivated one by one each segment and reactivate them all. But the segments no work anymore :mad:

No problems with Strava segments, using a Samsung S7 with Android 8.

The same is true for Garmin segments. They worked perfect before the software update. Afterwards no segment is shown during the ride. I have re-synced all of my 20 segments, they appear and are enabled on the Edge 820 but doesn't show up while riding.
Any idea of how to fix this is appreciated.

@Garmin: you shouldn't release a SW-update that effects a key-function of your devices so badly.

I’ve changed activity profiles and reactive Strava segments. Neither have worked.

When I activate Strava segments on the Garmin Connect app and then synch with my 820, I still do not get the Strava Live segments on my unit. When I go back to the garmin connect app after that sync, the app has switched back to the garmin segments being active. By the way, even though the app reverted back to garmin segments, they do not show up on my unit either.

This is ridiculous! Garmin, you need to fix this (and don’t forget to address the battery drain issue).

Here also the same problem since FW 9.1.
But yesterday something strange happened!!!
I was riding in Limburg (Amstel Gold Race). From a lot of climbs I have segments on the 820.
The whole day nothing showed up until the 3th climb from the end. All of a sudden I got a segment!!
And also for the 2 climbs after that the segments showed up.

Don't have a clue why. Didn't do anything about this issue during the ride. It just showed up.
Curious what will happen on a next ride.

Maybe they exchange lat with long :p and you are at [0,0] or at [4,4] or so on... ;)

I got exactly the same yesterday during the "Ardechoise" just before the last climb the segment was shown, today during a short ride the segments were ok !
Impossible to explain...
