Garmin Edge 820 and bluetooth sensors (HR, Cadence, Speed)

Hi everybody,

I am considering buying bluetooth sensors instead of Ant+. E.g. the Wahoo tickr and cadence and speed sensor. Does anybody know if these connect (well) with the Garmin Edge 820?

i heard of some users complaining that only one bluetooth sensor could be connected. I cannot proove this, cause have only ant+ sensors and there is no problem connecting more than one

Most BLE sensors can only support being connected to one head unit at a time. The head unit can connect to multiple BLE sensors at the same time.

The Edge 820 does not support pairing with BLE sensors. The Edge 1030 does, as does the FR935 and Fenix 5.

Most of Wahoo sensors are dual ANT+ and BLE so it should not be a problem with the 820 using ANT+
