Does anyone have good instructions on group tracking? One of my Garmin-connected riders can see a message on his Edge 1000 with the separation distance between us. I cannot see his position on the map of my Edge 820. I don't know if there's a setting I am missing. When I go to the Connections page on my Garmin Connect app, I can see that we are connected. Any tips or hints?
The setting would be on their side. They need to enable group live track information being sent in the Garmin Connect Mobile app on their phone. It is under the livetrack settings.
Okay, I'll tell him. It looks like it's at the bottom of the LiveTrack page on the app and has a slider to turn on, plus another option on making it visible To All Connections, or Invite Only. I'll have him check that on his Garmin Connect page. Thanks.
