Garmin Edge 820 and Bluetooth and iPhone6S

Hey,

This has just started happening today but basically when I start the Edge, all is fine until it pairs with the phone via bluetooth. Then it crashes. I have tried various methods of trying to avoid it but the only successful method was to turn BT off on the phone. Turning it back on again however results in a crash when trying to reconnect. Things I have tried:

Delete BT devices from both devices
Hard reset (factory reset). Even on setup when it questions connecting to bluetooth device, it crashes once paired.
Delete device from Garmin Connect, delete BT device from phone.. reconnect... yep, you guessed it... crash!

I'm seriously out of ideas.

Edge fIrmware version: 8.70
Garmin Connect app version: 4.1.4.2
iOS version: 11.1.2 (15B202)

Is anyone else experiencing this or is it just me? Hey, maybe Ill reboot the phone..... hmmm

Nope, that didn't work. Next Im upgrading the iOS to 11.2

Ok well that doesnt work either. I dunno. Don't use bluetooth

Hey good news. I noticed the pairing happened ok but the crash would happen upon syncing with Garmin Connect. So I trashed it and reinstalled it. Problem gone away. Dodgy apps!

Yay, its just started happening again. Ironically after upgrading to 8.80. Does anyone know where I can log a bug?

Hi Karathrace,
I would contact Garmin support - I've always found them very helpful.
They will either help you fix the problem or provide a bug/incident number (I can't remember what they call it)

I've got an I phone 6, Edge 820 now at 8.8, use Garmin connect App. Ive been using these for about a year and I've not had this problem.

Ive noticed yesterday the Garmin Connect up got an update to v4.1.5.1. Ill try this again tonight to see if there is a remedy.
