Edge 705 Front screen replacement

Hello,

I am really sorry to post here a question about Edge 705, but the forum on Edge 705 has been already archived so if Iposted there nobody would see my inquiry except those getting my thread through some web search engine.

Is there anyone around who knows how to disassemble an Edge 705 in a way that one could replace the front cover? I have a scratched one and saw that a replacement could be bought on ebay for just GBP10, but dont know whether it is possible to replace it at all.

For me 25 pieces sold are not a proof for a solution, just an evidence that quite lots of people have broken their units.

i had a look and it looks fairly well attached or glued in on the inside is a hard rubber seal with no obvious method of removal I tried pushing it but also had no give and didn't want to force it too much
the fact replacements are available means it is doable but I am at a loss as to how at the moment as I don't want to break what I have, sorry can't offer more help
