Screen halo

My screen has a halo around it that you can see when the backlight is off - like a film on the screen is delaminating from the edges inward. Is this something that I need to send to Garmin to replace?

Mine looks exactly the same as yours; and I'm pretty sure it wasn't like that when I first got it.

Rather than start a new thread in a different forum for what is the same problem, I am also getting a screen halo on my edge 820 explore.

I contacted the support team and sent photos. The chap I spoke to said it was normal.

I reported it as well, but the guy did NOT say it was "normal". He has since requested a bunch of additional information and files from me.

I've since had an email asking for more pictures. After sending these Garmin are going to replace my 820.

I've allways found Garmin support to be excellent with any products I've had a problem with - fast response once they had better pictures.

Edge 820 sent to Garmin today (22/6/2017) - awaiting a replacement.

I have the halo to. talk to support and they will replace it. unfortunately I have to pay taxes and shipping because I´m out side of USA :(.
I hope my local dealer help me.
