I accidentally formatted 820

You should not need a backup. After reformatting the device the Edge will rebuild the file system when you next switch it on. You can re-install the maps using Garmin Express.

You will have lost all your settings etc, but unless you did your own back-up no one can help you with that.

Unpack the contents in to the root or top of the Edge file system after it has rebuilt the file system.

my device doesn't create new folders, when it start it remains in "loading profiles". Garmin Express not recognized it.
what can i do?

It does not sound like it got correctly reformatted.

Try formatting it again using a Windows machine. Right click on the device, select format, leave it as FAT32 and unselect the quick format option.

So how did you accidently re-format it?

Try doing a full reset.

Non-prompted Non-Vol Clear - Clears NV and deletes all FIT files including Activities, Courses, Workouts.

• Turn device off
  
• Hold Lap/Reset and Start/Stop
  
• Press and release the power button
  
• Continue to hold only Lap/Reset and Start/Stop
  
• Release Lap/Reset and Start/Stop when the Garmin Logo is cleared
  
• The unit will restart and clear non-vol

Dropbox appears to kill links for some reason. The link only provides a few files that are not automatically added by the Edge when it rebuilds the file system.

Did the Edge rebuilding the file system? If not what device did you format the Edge with? (Windows or Mac)

I format edge 820 with windows 7, my garmin 820 is problem in temperature and altimeter, now formating, and need this files, work to me?
