How to turn off the segments?

Hi,

I would like to turn off the notification on the screen of the Edge 820 of the segments. It is very disturbing as I have to switch back each time to my main data display.
Actually I don't have Strava connected but maybe these segments have been taken from some routes that I have imported from Strava as I see these segment in the dashboard as "segment crossed".

How can I turn off the notification on the screen of the Edge of these segments?
Or how can I completely turn off all these segments?

    in the manual....:rolleyes:

    -->Segment Options
    Select Training > Segments > Segment Options.
    Turn Guidance: Enables or disables turn prompts.
    Search: Allows you to search for saved segments by name.
    Enable/Disable: Enables or disables the segments currently loaded on the device.
    Delete: Allows you to delete all or multiple saved segments from the device.
    Deleting a Segment
    1 Select Training > Segments.
    2 Select a segment.
    3 Select delete >.

    you can simply "un-star" the segments on Strava.

    Not even possible as I don't have a Strava account.
    I suppose the segments were included in the Strava routes that I imported from a website.

    okay so if you haven't set up Strava segments, the unit will use Garmin segments. I forgot how to use them. But I suspect you can remove any saved segments from Garmin Connect???

    Yes this is what I did also :cool:
    I still think that the segments that I had were imported with the Strava routes that I imported in Garmin as only on these routes they were some segments.
