Does anyone know how to download Strava routes to the 820. The instructions on line are all for other models and say that a Garmin folder should pop up when connected to my computer. That's not happening. Any help would be appreciated.
I had the computer not recognize the 820 once, simply turning it off and plugging it into the computer while off seemed to get it working again. Once you have the 820 connected so you can navigate the internal file structure all you do is add the .tpx file to the "New" folder and your done. Make sure it's the .tpx file you chose to export from Strava.
The downloaded file needs to go in the Garmin\NewFiles folder. Just select the download format you want TCX or GPX. Then either download the file to your PC and copy it to the Garmin\NewFiles folder on the Edge or download it directly to that location.
