Bluetooth phone connection causing large systematic errors in phone's GPS position

My 820 bluetooth connects to my Iphone 5s fine, but when connected, the Iphone thinks I am in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Turn off the Bluetooth, and my phone's location returns to being correct. Suggestions?

Maybe it should be Apple working on fixing the vulnerability on their OS.

Just wanted to add to the list of folks reporting this issue. Sent Garmin a ticket referencing this thread.
I am on an Iphone 6 and the only BT connection is with the 820. I use MapMyRide to allow the wife to track my progress automatically on her iphone and on my last three rides, five miles into the ride at the exact same area, the MapMyRide has me out in the pacific ocean (Not only is it an issue with the bad location, but also that the MapMyRide keeps repeating the audio update (set to 1 mile), which I assume is the location continually jumping around as it is reporting each time that I am going over 1000mph, also google maps and apple maps have me at the same location). As soon as I disconnect BT, the Iphone navigation works fine, I am correct on the map, and MapMyRide is working again, just that I picked up a few extra thousand miles. Hope they find a solution soon.

It's not on Apple side nor is a vulnerability. Different devices work with no problem.

I got an iPhone 7 Plus and its working correctly.

It happened again, but I noticed only now, a week later.
I was in Slovenia, took one photo, and it got placed in Central African Republic, 4500 km to the south.

Funny thing is, I took 3 photos, maybe 2-3 km apart, and just one got tagged in CAR.
I am using iPhone 7 with iOS 10.0.2.
Everything else on Garmin Connect and Strava is fine. I mean, except the photo location :)

I have an iPhone 7 and have this problem, but only in some places. In my usual area I have no problems.

Based in Shanghai with Garmin Edge 820 and iPhone 6 - same problem.

Map shows me riding in the ocean in Indonesia due South.

    Settings:
    Incident detection = off
    Group live track = off

Turn off Bluetooth and problem goes away, but then no call or text alerts.

I just updated to fw 4.10, which has a fix for this issue, and it seems to have worked for me.

It's not been flagged on the forum yet but Garmin Express has done it's job.

    This is the change log:
Changes made from version 3.20 to 4.10:
New Feature! Added support for LiveTrack Auto Start.
Added Touch Sensitivity setting to improve touchscreen performance with gloves and in wet conditions.
Added the ability to swipe through data screens while recording a ride while the screen is locked.
Improved elevation recording due to poor initial calibration and drift throughout a ride.
Fixed an issue where position could be reported incorrectly on an iOS device.
Fixed calibration for ANT+ Indoor Trainers.
Fixed Auto Sleep setting to be specific to an Activity Profile.
Improved Lap Summary page load time.

    Agreed :)
Found the changlelog and updated it!

Will check it out over the weekend (GPS location), and I'd say that screen sensitivity has been much better on 3.10 already.
