Quick Poll: Does your Edge 820 have a hypersensitive touchscreen?

By hypersensitive, i mean you can activate the touchscreen without physically touching it. I am getting the impression from DCR that not every Edge 820 is experiencing this issue but so far i have yet to see a response in this forum from someone who has a touchscreen that's working fine.

A yes/no answer and the version of TSC will suffice.

Here's how to find out the TSC version:

Settings -> System -> About -> Copyright Info

    mine was very sensitive too, but i think after the 3.2 update its not perfect but better.

    I cant find a fix entry in the 3.2 changelog, but something is different (positive way)

    Yesterday I was riding in the rain and it was scrolling down and up,
    and chose some menue point by the waterdrops on the Display.

    How to fix it? it was unuseable while the display was wet.

    Very funny feature for an outdoor device...

    Simple, lock the touchscreen and use an Edge Remote, luckily I already had one. :D

    Took my bike with me when I traveled to Singapore. I did two sweaty rides and the sweat triggered the Edge 820 to change its data field on both occasions. In fact, on this morning's ride, I could not even use the touchscreen without wiping away the sweat. I don't look forward to using it in the rain when I get back to Seattle. Seriously Garmin, how does something like this get by testing and made it through to production?

    Yes, so bad that I had to return mine. I'm convinced that Garmin can't fix the 820 screen issues with firmware updates at this point. I just couldn't deal with random button presses doing unexpected things on the computer when I'm sweating (which is pretty often on the bike).

    I had hoped the 820 would get regular bug fixes like the Fenix, but it seems to be mostly ignored like the Edge. Most updates address common updates across all product lines like enhancements for the Varia hardware and Connect IQ functionality, not serious bugs specific to the 820 like the hyperactive screen response and miscalibrated elevation data.

    Maybe I'll look at a future 830, but I sure as heck won't be an early adopter next time around.
