incoming call - caller number displayed, and txt message - sender plus you can click to read the msg. I like this feature as the text is nice and big, a lot easier to read texts on the Garmin than on my mobile phone!
I'm happy to escape the treadmill of social media communications when I'm on a good bike ride to be honest, I think the bare essentials are handy, if its an emergency and a relative or friend are trying to get hold of you then the unit flags it up and you can then decide if you need to stop and call / txt back. I certainly don't want email or Facebook notifications when I'm out cycling, its part of the whole escape routine ;)
