Anyone else having problem using the 520 with the Wahoo Tickr HRM? It takes my 520 several minutes to recognize it when adding it the first time. Even being added, the HR would only show up sporadically and very briefly.
just got my 520 and it pairs with all my speed and cadence sensors, stages PM but it will not pair with my wahoo ticks! I know the HR strap is working as i have the 800 unit showing my HR as i type. It didn't work when the firmware on the 520 was 2.3 or the updated 3.1
This is highly frustrating after only upgrading from an 800 edge for the training features on the 520 and more treating my self than needing to change.
Ive had a look around and see that some 520's pair some don't and many people get a discount to upgrade the HR strap from Wahoo but i don't want to have to upgrade or buy a garmin HR strap just to get full use from the 520 when really it should just work.
Does anyone have any more information on the issue as I'm struggling to find any solid info or answers as to the fix.
Garmin will tell you to contact Wahoo. And Wahoo will tell you the Wahoo TICKR does not work on the Edge 520. Simple as that.
