6,75MB more of Free Space in our Garmin Edge 520

Hi,

I found that if we use the English Language, we can avoid the 16 extra Language from our Garmin. So we use instead of 6,75MB for translation just 16kb. Obviusly this is only in case we use English, if we use another Language we must leave the original Language.

I have modify the Language File that are in the Text Folder, they are XML file, so I just leave the Head of the file and the Language ID, in case we made a mistake of the language.

I leave the modify Language and the Original Language in case someone hasn't made a Backup.

It is not to much the nearly 7Mb more space, but I think it could be very interesting.

I erased all those files in the text folder (now the folder is empty) without any issue.

I just leave it, because in case of update it will check the file exist and to avoid problems I prefer using 16kb with the correct head of the file than deleting the file.

If you look on the file you will see the version of the files are 2.20 and we are in 2.30

I removed alle language files, except Dutch (my home language). Works fine!
