Hi there,
I'm seriously considering buying the new 520. it's not really available right now in the Netherlands, so I have some time to find out if it will be suitable for my purpose of use.
I currently have a Bryton rider 50. never liked the navigation function. had to enter at the place where the track was made, and received a lot of warnings that I was off route, while I wasn't. so after a while I only used it for registering my speed, distance etc. It's getting old, the 520 seems great, so here we go! :-)
My question:
if I load someone elses tcx, gpx or whatever file onto the 520 and ride this track in a for me unknown mtb-area...
will the breadcrumps on the OSM map be clear enough for me to follow it?
I do not necessarely need a warning a left or right turn is coming up, if the route is well marked on the map.
(but: do you gys think the turn-by-turn option will be improved so that it will beep at the right time before a turn?)
Does anyone have a screenshot of a ride in the forest so I can have a look?
