FTP TEST NOT WORKING IN GARMIN EDGE 530

Hello,

I'm experiencing a problem similar to what is described here on my Garmin Edge 530:

I've updated the firmware to the latest version. How do I fix this?

In addition, this is the only instruction I could find on doing an FTP test with a Garmin Edge 530:

It isn't very clear, no instructions were provided after I started the test, I expect Garmin to do much better. A demonstration of the FTP test in video form would be much more instructive.
