My Edge 520 plus will no longer connect to One Plus 6 phone, after all obvious attempts to update, turn on/off re-set etc.

I have spent weeks trying to get my Edge 520 + to re-connect to my One Plus 6. None of the obvious and well tried workarounds do not work. Please do not ask me to:

 - Update Connect App

 - Turn On/Off Phone, Edge and Connect

 - Check Bluetooth

 - Hard re-set all devices

I have done everything ten fold. It is frustrating.

Amy advice please?

  • The sequence in which the pairing steps are performed is important. The process needs to be started on the Edge, not the phone.

    Start by deleting the Edge Bluetooth connection on the phone and the Edge in the Connect App if they are there and start over from the Edge Settings menu.
