My Edge 520 plus does not display heart rate

I am very bummed out. I first tried using a wahoo Tickr heart rate monitor. I was able to pair it to the Edge 520 but heart rate is not displaying. I asked a question in the Forum and was told the problem is with Wahoo. Therefore I got a Garmin Pro heart rate monitor. It works great and connects with zwift. Also, I am able to pair it with the Garmin Edge. However, it does not display heart rate. Yes, I have the heart rate monitor on. I did test it with another device that shows my heart rate.

Also, I have paired my Assioma pedals to the Garmin Edge 520 and it works great!

Sorry for asking about the obvious, but did you add a heart rate datafield to one of your data screens? Does that datafield show anything (like dashes, or zero)? Does the edge show that the sensor is actually connected?

Yes. I tried all different options of heart fields. They just show -- Nothing

It looks like the edge show the monitor is connected. What should it look like. It said the battery was low so at least it know it is there. I see the heart rate both in zwift and on my phone. Just not on the edge.

Hi, Did you manage to resolve your issue? I have the same problem. The HRM is sync'd to the 520Plus but I cant get it to show heart rate on the 'home screen' even though I've updated the data fields on the activity profile. Can you assist? Thanks

i gave up trying to figure it out. I tried both with garmin and wahoo heart rate monitor.
