edge 520 plus bluetooth connect issues

Hi , I changed my phone, I am trying to pair 520 plus with my new Xiaomi 11 t PRO but it hangs during the pairing process I tried everything that was needed by restarting everything, with my old xiaomi mi 9t it works perfectly, some suggestions ?

Im having the same issue with my exits Xiaomi. Is it the new software on the phone i wonder. I can connect my forerunner but not the edge 520 !!!

It is exactly the same thing forerunner 255 pairing ok, on edge 520+ the progress bar stops during the pairing phase in the middle, and repeats the pairing...but not work !

Same issue with my Edge 520 Plus and OnePlus 8T. Stopped syncing so I removed it. Now it won't repair.

I called Garmin, for this, and they confirmed that it is an issue related to a security patch related to the management of bluetooth, in fact one of the two protocols I did not understand which BT or BLE does not communicate with 520+, a new patch should be released shortly to solve the problem as garmin say. It's a xiaomi (or other android phone) issue

Hi all - I was having the same issue - all worked fine up until a few weeks ago then won't upload or allow me to pair after un-pairing it.

However this morning I noticed on Google Play there was an App update for Garmin Connect (v4.60) and after installing it has allowed me to pair.

Seemingly all working again as normal now.

ok with 4.60 of garmin connect mobile the issue is solved, all works fine !!
