Edge 520 issues recording elevation in rain

I have had a 510 and now a 520, both have issues recording elevation in rainy conditions.

Both operated OK for a couple of miles and then started to fail recording elevation. I'm pretty sure distance and speed remain accurate throughout.

I live in Scotland so unfortunately hills and rain are part of life.

Hi,

One possibility is that the small vent on the underside of the unit is being blocked by water droplets and needs better protection.
