Garmin Edge 520 Plus Not Acquiring Satellite Signal

I recently moved from Northern Ireland to Scotland. My Garmin Edge 520 Plus worked perfectly so far. When I went for my first ride in Scotland it was not able to acquire satellite signal. I have GPS+GLONAS on, latest software 5.7, GPS version 2.5, and I have tried factory resetting the device. The bar that shows connection to satellites just keeps flicking between 1 and 2 bars but not signal is acquired. It worked perfectly until now. Anyone know a fix? Also, the date and time is all messed up (it says that it is 6 hours less than what it actually is)

Maybe do a factory reset? Be sure to make a backup, which is on this forum how to do this

I'm not sure how to help you but I will say that recently I've been seeing a longer than usual lag in acquiring my GPS signal when I first start out. I can ride up to 1/4 mile before it finally connects. Years ago it would connect almost immediately. Maybe Garmin isn't paying their bill?

One thing that can slow down GPS acquisition is if you have a lot of history in the Garmin\Activities folder. Check how many activities you have in there.
