I've had my Edge 520 for 5 years and the map has displayed without an issue. Recently I was trying to free up space on the device and I accidently deleted the gmapbmap.img and .sum files. Of course, my map disappeared. Fortunately, I had a computer backup of the gmapbmap.img file and I added that back to the Garmin directory on the 520. However, I do not have a backup of the gmapbmap.sum file so I was unable to restore that. My map still won't appear. I'm guessing that it is due to the missing .sum file but I have no idea how to recreate that file. When the device boots and it says "loading maps" it no longer states "Open Street Maps" like it used to. It doesn't display anything at that point and quickly just goes to the home screen. Can anyone help on this? TIA!
