I'm really getting tired of all this LiveTrack BS

Latest Problem:

!. LiveTrack and Garmen phone app working great. My 520 talks to phone perfectly.

2. Several people have permission to follow me on my ride (even for 24 hours after)

3. My wife gets the invitation and clicks on the button to watch my activity

4. Map opens on her phone with error "No Signal trying to reconect". The strange thing is that it's stuck on a point about 1/2 way through my ride.

5. I have also check this from her mail on a PA and get the same problem.

Are you using Android phone? Cuz it's possible that Connect app is put to sleep which may break LiveTrack data stream. What I mean is that you may want to disable battery optimization for Connect. On iPhone IDK how it's over there.

Also my observation is that when you pause the activity mid-ride whether manually or automatically, this also breaks the LiveTrack.

I am using an android phone but the Garmin Connect app is set to run in the background. I even checked this later in the afternoon and it was still running in the background long after I had completed my ride.

My Connect App shows the complete ride. Alt the stats etc. When I checked the status when I got home the extended LiveTrack feature was still turned on becuase on that page in the app it was giving me the opportunity to click the big read button to stop LiveTrack. The ride was immediately uploaded to my Garmin account once I got home and saved it.

When my wife when to view my ride all she saw was a small cirucle going around and around trying to load something. This circle was located about 6 miles into my ride. There was nothing to view of my ride even up to that 6th miles. It was as if all it was doing was tracking my location. No record of the ride at all.
