Corrupted FIT File Repair from Garmin Edge 520

Hi, could anyone help me fix this FIT File of mine. It's off my Edge 520. First time I have encountered this in years. Would like to try to save todays ride. I have tried this repair site (garmin.kiesewetter) to no success.

Some fit files can be fixed by FIT File Tools, using the section remover without any adjustments. The result can then be uploaded to Garmin Connect Web using the Import Data page. I tested your file, so this…

Hi AGI, the beginning of the ride had no GPS data. Try this. Fixed using FFRT

corrupt or something? kept getting memory full messages on my 520. it wouldnt let me resume i had around 20ish miles 3,650 ft. of elevation. i just saved it how it was and rode home. it wont upload or anything. can you fix it? file:///E:/Garmin/Activities/2022-05-10-07-50-17.fit

We can try, but your attachment didn't work.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

Please select a valid file or enter a valid URL." :(

That's why you have to zip it first. Alternatively you can just rename the extension to something acceptable.

I tested your file, so this works. Then change the activity type from "Other" to "Cycling," or whatever the activity happens to be.

Download, unzip, then then import this into Garmin Connect 3682631.zip
