Disable lap button on Edge 520

Hi, as above, is there any way I can disable the lap button? I always press it by accident when I'm wearing gloves and trying to press other buttons, and since I use the auto lap feature, I've never needed to press it.

Any help would be appreciated!

I might buy a larger capacity battery off amazon, and while the back is off, snip one of the wires to the button, that would do it!

I take it there's nothing in the software to remap the buttons
