stopping the display mode form switching

IS it possible to lock the display mode on the screen so that it doesn't go from showing the map, then the elevation, then the screens with the speed/distance/time? I just want to keep it at this latter screen all the time. I know I can modify the fields that are showing in one of the display modes, but I don't want the screens to alternate every few seconds.

Have you enable auto-scroll? If the screens are changing every few seconds then it sounds like you might have.

Settings -> Activity Profiles -> Name of profile you are using -> Auto features -> auto scroll…
