I had problems connecting my S10 to the edge 520 when trying to connect directly through the two devices.  Had same issues as what everyone else has described. I downloaded the Garmin App, selected the 520 edge then paired the two devices through the app first time with no problems so recommend trying that, should be fine.

Just had the same problem. You have to go into the Edge and disable the connection to your old phone, then try to set up from the start. Pair your Garmin Connect app on your phone to your device. Should set up right away. Hope this helps.

I have a similar issue. I have the Samsung galaxy s10 5G. Since about 6 weeks ago the live track stopped working and getting frequent phone disconnected from garmin error when out for a ride.

As the wife likes to use the live track feature for when I'm out (especially on longer rides) then I thought I'd try and fix this. So... after looking through the forums I thought I'd completely unpair phone and garmin, delete garmin connect, reset Bluetooth settings etc etc. Ive even reset Bluetooth cache on phone.

Problem is now the garmin connect app keeps saying pairing failed when I am trying to reconnect, despite the garmin connecting to the phone initially before disconnecting again.

Can anyone help as now I cant even use my garmin to upload rodes etc Pensive
