FTP Test

Today I tried to do the FTP Test with my Edge 520 plus.

After the warmup, I stayed as good as I could within the upper and lower limit of each intervall.

When the 3rd intervall was over (225-245 watt) the garmin popped up a message saying "the FTP value could not be calculated. Please try again".

I tried a second time. This time the same message came after the second intervall.

What can be the reason why the garmin cannot calculate the FTP value?

Should I consider anything special during the intervalls?

I had a similar experience a while back, maybe a couple of firmware updates ago. I'm obviously not as persistent as you - I didn't try again! I'll be interested to see if anyone can shed some light ...

I’m facing similar issue, except that I got the error post cool down of 2mins and the workout completed. Were you able to get it? If so, how?

Hi,

Was it solved for one of you already and how? I tried it a couple of times now, but it keeps giving the same error message. I am curious if there is a version which I should run to solve this. Kind regards and keep healthy and cycling.
