New Edge 520+ won't accept TCX or GPX, only FIT files

Pulling hair out on this one. I'm a retailer, sold a customer a 520+ and she can't load files from Ride With GPX. I verified that GPX & TCX files placed into the NewFiles directory don't work.. they stay in the directory and never transfer to courses. But a FIT file works just fine.

Reset the computer in various ways. No difference. Only thing I haven't done is a complete wipe/rewrite file directory. Not sure how that's done on the 520+. What should I be looking for? Thanks!

This did not help. I have used gpx files for a couple of years and no problems with my 520 plus. But now when I load gpx file to new files and restart garmin there is nothing in courses file.

Resurrecting this one... I just transferred and .gpx file to the NewFiles folder, restarted the Garmin and it showed up in Courses, no problem. Garmin probably fixed this with a firmware update.
